**Presenter:** Melissa Graham, Rubin Observatory

**Get your Rubin Science Platform account ready for Data Preview 1**
_This session is for those who have never used the RSP before or could use a refresher._
We’ll start with a short presentation showing you where to find the step-by-step instructions for getting a new account in the Rubin Science Platform (RSP), linking additional identities, configuring your Git and GitHub access, creating user-managed groups, and generating user tokens. We’ll also show the basics of logging in to the RSP and entering the Portal and Notebook aspects. Attendees will then work through whichever of those things are relevant to them, with Rubin staff available to help and answer questions. This session will cover much of the same content as Session #1 of the [Rubin Data Academy](http://www.rubin.community/t/rubin-data-academy-2025-mon-june-30-thu-july-3/9991).

**Session type:** Presentation / Q&A

**Zoom:** [ls.st/dp0-events](http://ls.st/dp0-events)

All are welcome, with students particularly encouraged to attend. There will be time for Q&A.

The recording will be posted in this topic thread.
