The Italian In-kind Program at INAF (ITA-INF) is dedicating a large amount of time (more than 1000 nights) on the VLT Survey Telescope (VST) toward several dedicated surveys to support the Legacy Survey of Space and Time. Reserved access for Rubin data rights holders to the reduced data and scientific products will be provided. Community input on aspects of the surveys, including targets and data products, will be crucial to the success of this contribution to provide value to the US and Chilean communities. The contribution teams are also eager to hear about additional sciences cases that can be realized within the designed scope of the observations. A hybrid community workshop will be held 2025 February, 20-21 in Naples Italy to facilitate this feedback.
