The NSF NOIRLab Call for Proposals has been announced for the upcoming 2026A observing semester. Proposals are now being accepted for all ground-based facilities coordinated by the NSF NOIRLab, including the US time on the telescopes of Gemini, CTIO (including SOAR), and KPNO (WIYN), as well as community-access time with other observatories.

For the 2026A semester, community-access time includes facilities contributed through the Rubin In-Kind Program:

- Nordic Optical Telescope (NOT)
- Milankovic 1.4m Telescope
- Subaru Telescope
- South African Large Telescope (SALT)
- Korean Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet)

Full information about the submission of proposals, the facilities available, and the time allocation process can be found at[NSF’s NOIRLab Call for Standard and Survey Proposals: Semester 2026A](https://noirlab.edu/science/observing-noirlab/proposals/call-for-proposals). The deadline for proposals is 30 September 2025 at 11:59pm Mountain Standard Time (=Tucson time).
