In addition to [subscribing to new topics and posts with the normal watching/tracking settings](https://community.lsst.org/t/how-to-subscribe-to-emails-of-all-new-posts-in-categories-or-tags/37?u=jsick), you can also keep up using RSS.

1. Go to any category or tag index page
2. Copy the page’s URL
3. Add `.rss` to the URL

_Now you have the URL of an RSS feed!_

As a practical example, here’s the feed of a new topics in the [Announcements](https://community.lsst.org/c/announce) category: [http://community.lsst.org/c/announce.rss](https://community.lsst.org/c/announce.rss)

Note that these feeds only show _new topics_. Replies won’t appear in the RSS feed. You _can_ get feeds of replies for individual topics by appending `.rss` to the topic’s URL. However, you might find this type of workflow difficult to manage manually.

**RSS feeds are only available for public categories and topics.** The ‘Community Mailbot’ email list forwarder is available for private categories.
