# Butler policy files in obs packages have been changed from paf to yaml

As described in DM-7363 the paf files in the policy folder have been converted to yaml files in obs\_cfht, obs\_decam, obs\_lsstSim, obs\_sdss, obs\_subaru, and obs\_test,

Everything should continue to function normally. If you have local changes to paf files you’ll have to hand merge them into the yaml file.
