Have rich environments have been simulated, like crowded fields such as the Galactic Bulge, Globular Clusters, etc.

The DC2 simulated region of sky is a high-latitude area, and without “special” objects such as globular clusters or dwarf galaxies. As such, there won’t be very crowded fields. (There are some rich galaxy clusters that are fairly crowded, but not like the Galactic disk/bulge).

> Although this topic ([ls.st/clo4619](http://ls.st/clo4619)) does emphasize that the DC2 data set was created for extragalactic science goals, to what degree will DP0 include the Galactic plane? How well will crowded field photometry be represented in the release? Will the Galaxy be represented more thoroughly in future DP instances?
